A brunch take-out concept with a side of double-entendre

The team from Calgary brunch staple Diner Deluxe approached us with a vision for a tongue-in-cheek take-away brunch spot. We took the brand from a playful name to a fully realized restaurant concept that unapologetically plays with double entendre, allusions and a cheeky tone of voice.

We use a library of "friend" characters inspired by comic strips. Paired together, they could be besties, lovers, siblings, or co-workers, but over breakfast, they are all Friends with Benedicts
